Watching handball live
Handball is fast, physical and high scoring: seven players a side and two 30-minute halves, with goals coming every minute or so. Preliminary sessions include two matches.
Long Beach Arena
Handball is played at the Long Beach Arena, part of the convention center complex on the downtown waterfront. It is a fast indoor sport with constant scoring, and the arena is lively from the first match.
Getting there: Metro's A Line stops in Downtown Long Beach, a short walk from the arena.
Choosing your category
Lower letters are on the sides closest to the court; higher letters are further up and behind the goals. Seats behind a goal are a good place to watch the shooting duels with the goalkeepers. This listing has tickets in Categories A, B, C and D. Tickets bought in the same order are seated together, and your exact seats are shown on the tickets when they are delivered.
Session details from the official LA28 competition schedule (version 3.0, March 2026). Times and the order of events can change; we will let you know about any change that affects your tickets.
