Where should you stay for Roland Garros?
Stade Roland-Garros sits on the western edge of Paris, next to the Bois de Boulogne. These areas work well; they are suggestions only.
16th arrondissement
Auteuil and Passy are the closest neighbourhoods, a walk or a few métro stops from the gates. Quiet and residential.
Boulogne-Billancourt
Just south-west of the stadium, on métro Lines 9 and 10, with a wide range of hotels.
15th arrondissement
A good middle ground: more restaurants, with métro Line 10 running direct to Porte d’Auteuil.
Central Paris
Best for sightseeing between sessions. Allow 30 to 45 minutes each way to the stadium.

How do you get to Roland Garros?
By métro
Line 10 to Porte d’Auteuil is the closest station. Line 9 to Porte de Saint-Cloud or Michel-Ange–Molitor is a short walk away. This is usually the quickest option at the end of a session.
By taxi or private driver

- Then the hotel. Rooms near the stadium go early for the second week and finals weekend.

It depends on what you value. Packages bundle a hotel, transfers and often hospitality into one booking with set dates; 2027 prices listed on 1 October 2026 ran from €330 for an official ticket-plus-hotel pack to more than US$15,000 per person for a five-star finals package. Building your own with separate tickets and a hotel gives you a free choice of sessions, hotel and length of stay.
What is the cheapest way to go to the French Open?
Go in the first week. A grounds pass (from $300) gives you the outside courts, and one Court Philippe-Chatrier session (from $499) adds the main court. Staying along métro Line 10 rather than next to the stadium usually widens your hotel choice.
