"Few left" means fewer than 100 seats in that category when we checked; "sold out" means no seats were offered in it. Dynamic pricing is in force and prices change with demand. US dollar figures are approximate, converted at 0.66, not a live rate. On 1 October the final, Semi-Final 1, Quarter-Final 1 and New Zealand v Australia were sold out in every category. Knockout prices are above the February ladder (Quarter-Final 4 A$575–A$995, Semi-Final 2 A$1,295–A$1,650), and at Perth, Brisbane and Stadium Australia Categories 4–7 are sold at one price level.

How official prices changed since February

What drives the price of a Rugby World Cup ticket?

Three things: the stage (knockout rugby costs more than pool play), the teams (All Blacks, Springboks and Wallabies pool matches out-price others), and the seat category — Category 1 premium sideline seats sit closest to halfway, while Category 4–6 seats behind the goals are the most affordable way in. See exactly where each category sits with our interactive seating maps: Stadium Australia (Sydney), Optus Stadium (Perth) and Suncorp Stadium (Brisbane).

Frequently Asked Questions

How much are Rugby World Cup 2027 final tickets?
Final tickets at Stadium Australia in Sydney currently range from $1,099 to $3,750 on GoalTickets depending on seat category. On the official site the final was still sold out in every category on 1 October 2026, the first day of the general sale. The final is on 13 November 2027.
What is the cheapest Rugby World Cup 2027 ticket?
On the official site on 1 October 2026, the cheapest adult face value we saw was A$20 to stand on the hills at Italy v Georgia in Newcastle, and A$40 for a seat at Italy v Romania (Sydney Football Stadium), Italy v Georgia (Newcastle) and Chile v Hong Kong China (Townsville). Child tickets started at A$10 standing and A$20 seated. On GoalTickets, pool-stage tickets start at $90.
What is the official face value of Rugby World Cup 2027 tickets?
On the official site on 1 October 2026, the first day of the general sale, adult face values at the 14 big matches we track ran from A$160 (England v Tonga, Category 4–7) to A$1,650 (Semi-Final 2, Category 1). The Wallabies' opener in Perth was A$635 / A$495 / A$340 / A$275 across Categories 1 to 4–7, Ireland v Scotland A$735 / A$570 (up from A$635 / A$495 on 29 September), Quarter-Final 4 A$995 to A$575. Pool matches at the smaller venues start at A$40 for a seat (A$20 standing on the Newcastle hills). The final, Semi-Final 1, Quarter-Final 1 and New Zealand v Australia were sold out. Dynamic pricing applies.
Do ticket prices include fees?
Yes — on GoalTickets the price you see is the final price. No service fees or hidden charges are added at checkout.
When should I buy Rugby World Cup 2027 tickets?
In-demand knockout matches and marquee pool fixtures sell through first: the final, Semi-Final 1, Quarter-Final 1 and New Zealand v Australia were sold out in every category on the official site on the first day of the general sale, and Ireland v Scotland's face value went up between 29 September and 1 October. Prices on the resale market generally rise as the tournament approaches, so earlier is usually cheaper.

The cheapest seats rose most: Categories 4 to 7 now sell at one price that is 2.5 to 5.3 times the February Category 6 price, for example A$65 to A$275 for Australia v Hong Kong China.
