The 2028 Summer Games return to Los Angeles for the first time since 1984, running from July 14-30, 2028. With 36 sports across 47 venues throughout Southern California, the 2028 Games will be the largest Summer Games in history.
Key Schedule Changes for LA 2028
LA28 features historic schedule changes designed to maximize the fan experience. Track and field moves to the first week (July 15-24), starting with the women's 100m on Day 1. Swimming shifts to Week 2 (July 21-29), with a temporary pool installed inside 2028 Stadium creating an unprecedented 70,000+ seat swimming venue.
